Hip 979, a dark bay or brown filly by Ghostzapper out of Grand Glory sold for $850,000 to buyer Steven W. Young, Agent. Ghostzapper was ranked 13th out of 39 on the leading sire list for session 4. Three yearlings sold in this session for a total of $1,340,000 and an average of $446,667.

Hip 793, a chestnut colt by American Pharoah out of Concinnous was sold for $600,000 to buyer China Horse Club/ Maverick Racing. American Pharoah was ranked 6th out of 39 on the leading sire list for this session, with four yearlings sold during this portion of the sale for a total of $2,200,000 and an average of $550,000. Concinnous is also dam of two-time Grade 1 winner and millionaire Iotapa.
