Denali Stud, (Craig and Holly Bandoroff, Agent) was ranked 5th out of the 57 on the leading consigners list for a total of $2,855,000 and an average of $407,857.
Denali is pleased to have sold seven out of the nine horses sent through the ring during book 1 session 2 on September 11th.
Hip 405, a bay filly by War Front out of Silk and Scarlet was sold for $750,000 to buyer Northshore Bloodstock, agent. War Front was ranked top sire out of 48 in leading sire results for book 1 session 2 of the sale. Eight of his yearlings were sold for a total of $8,370,000 and an average of $1,046,250.

Hip 353, a bay colt by Medaglia d’ Oro out of Rose to Gold was sold for $700,000 to buyer Jamie McCalmont , Agent for Jon Kelly. Medaglia d’Oro was ranked 8th out of 48 in leading sire results for book 1 session 2 of the sale. Seven of his yearlings went through the ring for a total of $3,400,000 and an average of $485,714. This colt’s dam Rose to Gold was a G3 winner, and is dam of one other foal who is a two-year-old to race in 2018.

Hip 347, a dark bay or brown colt by Pioneerof The Nile out of R Holiday Mood sold for $450,000 to buyer China Horse Club. Pioneerof The Nile was ranked 7th out of 48 in leading sire results for session 2, with seven yearlings sold for a total of $3,475,000 and an average of $496,429. This colt’s dam is a G3 winner by Trippi, who is one of the great three-year- old sprinter milers.

Hip 251, a chestnut colt by Ghostzapper out of Oatsee sold for $300,000 to buyer Whisper Hill Farm. Horse of The Year and Hall of Famer, Ghostzapper, has recorded seven straight years of numerous Stakes winners and is damsire of Triple Crown Winning Justify. This colt’s dam Oatsee is a daughter of Unbridled and is a two time G1 producer as well as 2011 Broodmare of the Year. This blacktype placed mare has produced multiple top-class fillies and three time G1 and Classic winner Shackleford.
