Denali Sells MG1W Photo Call (IRE) for $2.7 Million at the Faisg-Tipton November Sale

Denali Stud is pleased to announce that we sold a total of $6,700,000 at the Fasig- Tipton November Sale. During the famous Night of The Stars we offered 6 hips and sold every one. We landed 4th on the Leading Consignor’s List out of 36 consignors for the sale.

Our highest price to go through the ring for our consignment was hip 166, Photo Call (IRE) who sold for $2.7 million to buyer Katsumi Yoshida of Japan based Northern Farm. She was sold in foal to Quality Road. The 8-year- old Galileo mare earned $827,102 during her track career and most notably defeated champion Tepin in the G1 First Lady Stakes. Her family includes champions Magical and Rhododendron who are also daughters of Galileo (IRE).


Our second highest priced mare hip 95, Baffled sold for $1.8 million to buyer Don Alberto Corp. She produced G1 winner and freshman sire Constitution  and Tempted Stakes (G3) winner Jacaranda. Baffled is out of the Ocean Crest mare Surf Club. She is a half- sister to Forego Stakes (G1) winner Emcee and stakes winner Spring Party, and she's a full sister to group 2 winner Surfer. She was offered in foal to Medaglia d'Oro.

Hip 122, Fuhriously Kissed was sold for $600K to buyer Ina Bond. G1P in the Apple Blossom, this multiple winning mare earned nearly $400,000 in her career earnings. She is family of G1 winning millionaire On Fire Baby. She was offered carrying her first foal by Triple Crown winning Justify.



Hip 208, Indian Blessing (GB) was sold for $400K to buyer Blandford Bloodstock LTD.  This G1 placed mare won/placed in nine group/graded events in four countries. She concluded her career with a total of $366,086 in earnings.



Hip 123, Giant Zinger was sold for $450K to buyer Mike G Rutherford. This mare is a G2 and G3 placed winner, out of the family of Tapit’s G1 winning son Cupid. She is a MGSP daughter of Hostess.
