Denali Stud Sells $500K Giant’s Causeway Colt in Book 2 of Keeneland September Sale

Denali Stud (Craig and Holly Bandoroff, Agent) was ranked 4th out of 31 on the leading consignors list for a total of $4,845,000 and an average of $186,346.

Denali sold 26 out of the 33 yearlings that were sent through the ring during book 2, session 5 on September 15th.

 Hip 1066, a dark bay or brown colt by champion sire Giant’s Causeway out of the unraced Maggy’s Melody mare sold for $500,000 to buyer Ben Glass, Agent.

Hip 1009, a bay filly by Declaration of War out of Hostess sold for $340,000 to buyer West Bloodstock/Repole Stables. This filly’s dam is a G3 winner by Chester House and comes from the female family of millionaire Cupid.

Hip 1132, a bay filly by Uncle Mo out of Raise The Flag was sold for $320,000 to buyer G. Watts Humphery, Jr.  Uncle Mo was ranked 2nd out of 69 on the leading sire list this session, with 11 yearlings sold for a total of $2,936,000 and an average of $266,909. This filly’s dam is half- sister to Champion 2-year-old filly Storm Flag Flying.
