Thursday, December 5, 2019

As the 2019 year comes to a close, we would like to take the time to sincerely thank our clients for continuing to choose Denali as their consignor and caretaker of their horses year round. We are humbled and appreciative of your choice, as we continue into 2020 with optimism for another great year.

Denali takes immense pride in the horses we have foaled, raised and sold while we watch them transition into their future racing careers as we continue to follow their progress throughout their lives. We strive for attention to detail in all aspects of our business, highlighting the care and quality we offer not only to our horses but our clients as well. We would like to highlight some of our banner moments this year!

New York Breeders Awards

In April, our very own resident mare Thin Disguise had two of her daughters win awards at the New York Breeders Awards. Bred by our long time clients Dr. William Wilmot and Dr. Joan Taylor, Holiday Disguise by Harlan’s Holiday won Champion Female Sprinter and Champion Older Dirt Female. Her half-sister Midnight Disguise by Midnight Lute took the award for Champion Three-Year-Old Filly.

Denali is grateful to have helped raise both of these mares as well as sold Holiday Disguise. We are excited to continue following them in their future endeavors and wish them the best of luck!

Serena’s Song Celebrated Her 27th Birthday!

Our very own Queen of Denali Stud celebrated 27 wonderful years on April 4th. This champion race mare’s breeding accomplishments are as notable as her racing accomplishments evident in her daughters and grandchildren today. Our retired beauty now enjoys her days turned out to pasture with her field mates and her wonderful snacks and routine visits from fans!

Soon after her birthday, the TDN published a spread about Serena’s Song, her wonderful legacy, the Lewis family and her retirement at Denali Stud. In case you missed it, check out the story here!
