Keeneland November Fruitful for Denali Consignments

Sunday, November 28, 2021

The market is showing no signs of slowing down and a week and a half after the record-breaking conclusion to Fasig-Tipton’s “Night of the Stars”, Keeneland announced similarly robust results for their November sale. To that end, Denali Stud consignments were well-received by buyers with thirty six-figure horses including consignment topper J. Quirk selling in foal to Gr. I winner and new sire, Game Winner, for $725,000; the hammer dropping the way of Breeze Easy. Victory Kingdom (AUS) sold in foal to hot sire Constitution, the mare out of a half-sister to Beholder bringing $650,000 from Winchell Thoroughbreds. Of 135 head, only ten RNA’d that weren’t privately sold later on, and 88 total changed hands.

Stats from the sale:

  • Top Price: $725,000
  • Sales Gross: $8,533,000
  • Average Price: $96,966

As always, we thank our clients for putting their trust in Denali Stud to sell some of their best horses. It’s an honor to represent some of the most successful breeders every year.
