A DENALI GRADUATE WINS SAN LUIS OBISPO-G2 FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

BOURBON BAY followed up SPRING HOUSE’s 2009 San Luis Obispo win, both horses are Denali graduates. BOURBON BAY has now won both 1 ½ mile turf races at Santa Anita this year. Sold at Keeneland September 2007 by Denali, BOURBON BAY was purchased privately by David and Jill Heerensperger as a two-year-old. Winning his first stakes, the four-year-old gelding won the Grade II event by 4 ¼ lengths and raised his bankroll to $209,424.
