Undefeated three-year-old filly SHINE UPON kept her nose down at the wire to defeat a solid group in the Dreamy Mimi S. at Aqueduct. Taking on stakes fillies Speightful Affair and Anchorage, they finished a nose and neck apart at the line. SHINE UPON was sold by Denali for her breeder Berkshire Stud at the 2008 Keeneland September Yearling Sale for $125,000 to Stewart Hoffman, co-owner with Blue Bison Stable.
