Denali sale graduate, GOLDEN BALLET, sold at the 2001 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale is the dam of 2010 Belmont winner DROSSELMEYER. Sold as a three-year-old broodmare prospect GOLDEN BALLET’s race record at the time of sale pointed to classic success. Racing for Heiligbrodt Racing Stable and Team Valor the stakes winning 2-year-old filly of 2000, went on to win the 2001 Santa Anita Oaks-G1, Las Virgenes S.-G1, Railbird S.-G2, Santa Ynez S.-G2 and was also 2nd in the Ashland S.-G1.
