DENALI GRAD BREAKS MAIDEN BY 10 ¼ AT WOODBINE

SPRING IN THE AIR made her career debut in the restricted Shady Well S. July 15, at Woodbine. Trainer Mark Casse had to have been high on her for such a debut, where after a tardy start, she closed ground to finish second. Saturday at Woodbine in a maiden special weight going 6f she was never out of a high gallop as the 2-5 favorite. The Ontario-bred took command on the turn and won by 10 1/4 lengths while never asked to run. She races for the stable of John C Oxley and was bred by WinStar Farm LLC and is from the first crop by WinStar stallion Spring At Last.
