With a 70% clearance rate, Denali Sales sold 84 head for a total of $4,372,200 at the Keeneland September sale. Selling in all of the first six days of the sale under the new format, Denali’s biggest day came later in the sale on the 19th when 33 hips sold for $1,122,500, ranking the sales agency fifth by gross receipts. The consignment also featured the last yearling by Storm Cat to be sold at auction. The filly out of Western Princess was hammered down at $285,000 to Chiefswood Stables.
