DOUBLES PARTNER, DENALI SALE GRAD, UPSETS LENTENOR

Bred by Bridlewood Farm, Doubles Partner was a $450,000 sales yearling from Denali’s 2008 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Consignment. Racing for WinStar Farm, Doubles Partner won a 1 1/8-mile turf allowance at Gulfstream Park on Feb. 17. Like Lentenor, Doubles Partner ($17.40) is a Triple Crown nominee and was coming off a maiden turf win. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the colt broke his maiden Nov. 28 in his first grass start.
