SEPT. SALE FILLY COMES FLYING IN STAKES AT THE SPA

From the first crop by Bluegrass Cat and offered by Denali at the Keeneland 2009 September Yearling Sale, KATHMANBLU rallied to finish second in the P. G. Johnson S. at Saratoga. After a rough start the two-year-old settled behind the field, finally found a spot turning for home and rallied immediately after being called upon. She finished with good energy down the course to garner place honors. Out of Abba Gold, by Devil’s Bag, KATHMANBLU won her second career start on July 17 the Kenny McPeek trainee races for her breeders Five-D Thoroughbreds.
