SPRING IN THE AIR PLACES IN G2 AT WOODBINE

Second the Shady Well S. in her debut, the Denali sale graduate Spring in the Air returned at Woodbine to break her maiden by 10 ¼ lengths. In the Grade II Natalma S. over 1 mile turf for juvenile fillies at Woodbine she raced in midpack and came three wide through the turn rallying willingly from the outside. Settling for second, her sire Spring at Last was responsible for the exacta, siring the winner, Spring Venture as well. Denali sold Spring in the Air at the 2011 Fasig-Tipton October yearling sale for $50,000.
