THREE DAYS OF STAKES PERFORMANCES

Denali sale graduates took to the Eastern stakes races, starting off at Monmouth Park on July 24. Potosina, a three-year-old filly by Cactus Ridge and offered by Denali at the 2008 Saratoga yearling sale finished third in the 1 1/16 mile turf Desert Vixen S. The next day at Monmouth Denali graduates finished second and third and the Tryo Stakes run at 5 ½ furlongs for two-year-olds. Bred by Candy Meadows Farm and sold by Denali at the Keeneland 2009 September sale, the Yes It’s True colt, Brother in Arms was second in the race followed by Denali raised and sold Christiesborntorun, by Grand Slam out of Chocolate Brown. The next at Saratogathe Gallagher’s Stud bred Icabad Crane was second by a neck in the Evan Shipman S. over 1 1/8m Icabad Crane was old by Denali at the Fasig-Tipton NY Bred preferred 2006 yearling sale.
