UNCLE MO BREEZES AT PALM MEADOWS

Denali sold Champion UNCLE MO continued to work in preparation for his season debut with a five-furlong workout at Palm Meadows. Breezing five-eighths of a mile in 1:01.40, it was the seventh of 22 timed moves at the distance. Under consideration for the 1 1/16-mile Tampa Bay Derby (G2) or the Timely Writer S. at Gulfstream, both events are slated for March 12.
UNCLE MO has topped the Thoroughbred Times Triple Crown poll for the first two weeks. Last week he breezed a half-mile at Palm Meadows in :47.45, drawing comment from trainer Todd Pletcher, “He is right on schedule.”
